15Lt Angel Litter |
|
litters are composed of sand formed into small crystals (a similar size to original clay litter). Solid waste must be removed from the litter box but urine is absorbed by the granules. The entire box needs replacement only about every 30 days. This has the highest absorbency of any litter, and has excellent moisture and odour control.
There is no clumping action, and little tracking. Crystal litter is extremely lightweight, especially when compared to clay and clumping litter. Costs consumers $0.23 per day (based on RRP) 15ltr bag – One cat – 14 weeks |

15Lt Eco Litter |
|
Recycled paper pellet litters are made from 100% recycled paper, with no additives or chemicals. The paper is absorbent with moderate odour control. Paper litter is a good environmental choice – as well as coming from waste, it can be buried in the garden, and if faeces are removed first, can be put in normal garden compost.
Costs Consumers $0.25 per day (based on RRP) 15ltr Bag – One cat – 10 weeks |

15Lt Lavender Litter |
|
Consumers love the plesent lavender masking scent. This litter is also a type of clay, but in finer sand-like particles. It clumps together when it is moist, and the solid clumped material can be scooped out and disposed of without changing the entire litter box. The litter box does need to be replaced to prevent buildup of bacteria, but only every four to six weeks.
The finer granules tend to stick to a cat’s paws when it hops out of the box, causing more ‘tracking’ (litter carried outside the box) – some cats make a mess! Clumping litters provide good urine absorption, and good odour control. Costs Consumers $0.26 per day (based on RRP) 15ltr Bag – One cat – 13 weeks |

15Lt Value Litter |
|
This was the original ‘Kitty Litter’, but the product has been improved. Clay litter is absorbent, and its larger grain makes it less likely to be ‘tracked’ from the litter box. The clay does absorb ammonia to a degree so reduces odours.
Costs Consumers $0.18 per day (based on RRP) 15ltr Bag – One cat – 8 weeks |
